Support and Development Manager – Connected Voice
Full‑time position based in Gateshead and Newcastle (UK). Salary £37,822 to £42,024 per annum. Working hours: 37 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the Support and Development team.
* Provide a holistic support service for local VCSE organisations, including training, networking events, governance advice, funding support, and information.
* Manage the OurGateshead community website.
* Motivate staff and foster strong working relationships within the team.
* Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders in the VCSE sector.
* Represent and amplify the voices of VCSE organisations.
* Generate income to support the sustainability of the service.
Qualifications & Desired Skills
People person with the ability to motivate individuals and build strong relationships.
Strong understanding of the needs of VCSE organisations in Newcastle and Gateshead, particularly small and medium sized.
Strong strategic leadership and management skills.
Self‑motivated, well‑organised and enthusiastic.
Good head for business with the ability to generate income.
