A well-established global manufacturer of extraction systems is continuing to expand, and are looking for a Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join their growing engineering team. This is a permanent opportunity within a company that has substantial investment planned in new machinery and production lines, this role offers the chance to contribute to world-class standards across reliability, productivity, and quality - while supporting the ongoing development of a highly automated site. This role is paying in the region of £58,000 - £63,500 and covers a 3 shift pattern but this will change in the future. Key Responsibilities as a Maintenance Engineer: Provide effective and efficient electrical and mechanical maintenance support. Respond quickly to breakdowns and ensure smooth running of the production machinery. Diagnose and rectify faults to minimise downtime and improve equipment reliability. Support equipment refurbishments, installations, and upgrades to optimise performance. Conduct reliability checks and ensure compliance with electrical standards. Source and order parts or equipment when required. Develop and carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Predictive Maintenance routines, tracking progress through KPIs. Skills & Experience as a Maintenance Engineer: Proven background in maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial setting. Electrically biased but with sound mechanical competence. Flexibility to work shifts as required. Qualified to at least Level 3 in Electrical Engineering.
