Responsibilities include:
* Work as part of an engineering team to ensure effective production across the factory floor.
* Support NPIs and implement new processes on the factory floor.
* Assist with fault diagnosis and repair of production equipment.
* Carry out updates to controlled drawings and documentation.
* Introduce LEAN improvements within production to improve productivity and reduce waste.
* Coordinate with external contractors for planned maintenance or repairs.
* Perform calibration tasks on production equipment and maintain accurate records.
* Train production staff on new or updated processes or equipment.
* Assist with shopfloor layout changes and new equipment installations.
* Create programmes for production equipment and design/install jigs and fixtures.
* Research and install new production equipment.
* Perform takt time analysis of cells to set and improve KPIs across production.
* Design and install new production cells and develop automation solutions.
* Run pre-production activities and review/conserve concessions when needed.
* Additional duties as required.
Qualifications/Requirements:
* Degree level qualification in Electrical / Electronics Engineering.
* Experience within engineering / production environment.
* Experience in PCBA manufacture, design and testing.
* Automation systems knowledge.
* Solid foundation in electronics down to component level.
* Desirable: Knowledge of lean processes and process development.
* CAD software (SolidWorks).
* Test software (LabVIEW).
