Service Operation Coordinator – £25,000 – Newport (Hybrid) Ogi is a leading Welsh telco with big ambitions. We’re looking for a Service Operations Coordinator to join our growing team – someone who’s super organised, great with people, and confident juggling a busy schedule. You’ll play a key role in helping us keep our engineering workstreams moving, making sure our customers receive the first-class service they expect. About you… You don’t need to come from a telecoms background to thrive in this role, if you’ve worked in scheduling, admin, customer service or even engineering coordination before, we’d love to hear from you. We’ll provide full training on our systems and ways of working; what’s important is that you’re friendly, calm under pressure and good at spotting what needs to be done to keep things running smoothly. We’re also looking for someone who: * Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment * Can stay organised even when things get busy * Likes solving problems and keeping customers in the loop * Is confident speaking to both customers and engineers * Can manage competing priorities and adjust plans when needed You’ll need to be someone with strong time management and a methodical approach, confident using tools like Microsoft Word and Excel (though we’ll provide full training on Dynamics 365 and our internal systems). Just as importantly, you’ll bring a team spirit – someone who enjoys sharing ideas, working collaboratively, and supporting others to get things done. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone looking to build their coordination and scheduling experience in a supportive, fast-paced environment where every day brings something a bit different. What you’ll be doing… Based in our Newport office (with hybrid working), you’ll help coordinate and schedule the day-to-day activity of our field teams – making sure engineers are in the right place at the right time, and that our customers are kept informed every step of the way. You’ll regularly liaise with both customers and engineers during the installation phase and play a key part in keeping things on track and running smoothly. Your day-to-day could include: * Allocating jobs to engineers using our scheduling system (Dynamics Field Service) * Planning work in line with SLAs and daily priorities * Keeping customers updated and confirming appointments * Monitoring progress and flagging any issues or delays to team managers * Reviewing daily/weekly reports to ensure compliance and performance * Supporting other team members with admin and coordination tasks * Making sure defined processes are followed – and recommending improvements when needed This is a varied, people-focused role – perfect for someone who enjoys spinning a few plates, solving problems, and playing a key part in delivering a brilliant customer experience.
