About The Role
We have a brand‑new opportunity for a Principal or Associate Electrical Engineer to join our team based in our Oxford office. As a Principal or Associate Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting and delivering designs for a range of project types and sizes. You will work within a multidisciplinary team of engineers and support staff delivering a consistent high‑quality service for clients, ensuring that repeat and new business opportunities are developed and profitability is achieved.
Key Responsibilities
* Be responsible for the day‑to‑day technical delivery of the electrical design services for multi‑disciplinary projects across a number of building sectors.
* Lead the development of initial strategic concepts for projects ensuring solutions are appropriate for the brief and regulatory standards.
* Interact regularly with internal and external stakeholders, attending project meetings and translating the brief within the project team.
* Work with the team leader to help monitor fee expenditure, resources and work delivered.
* Mentor and support our next‑gen professionals, including apprentices and graduates.
About You
* Proven experience working as an Electrical Engineer or in a closely related role, with a track record delivering on a variety of complex projects.
* Experience of modern technical delivery processes, and use of relevant software/tools such as BIM, Revit, Electrical OM, Dialux and Relux.
* Demonstrable experience working with clients/contractors/architects in a design‑oriented/consultant role.
* Self‑awareness, an open mind, and a spirit of generosity.
* Experience in supporting others to develop knowledge, skills, and confidence.
