We are Industrial Textiles and Plastics (ITP), a family-owned business established in 1989 and based at the business park in Easingwold near York. We specialize in manufacturing building membranes and temporary protection materials, which are sold to builders' merchants and contractors. As a forward-thinking company, we are continually looking to innovate and grow.
ITP is currently looking for a Sales Account Manager who can combine office-based work with regular face to face meetings. This exciting and rewarding role requires someone to join our friendly sales department to help maintain existing customers and seek out new business growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities are:
* Customer Engagement: Develop and nurture customer relationships with Specifiers, Contractors, Merchants and key-decision makers to see through the full sales cycle from enquiry to order.
* Business Development: Identify further opportunities and new avenues as you integrate yourself and understand the customers' needs.
* Account Management: Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers.
* Sales Growth: Seek out new opportunities for business growth with new customers and identifying potential new markets

* Motivation and Self-Organization: Ability to work as part of a team and also engage with customers to develop product offering and opportunities.

* Sense of Humour: Ability to contribute to a positive team environment.
* Sales Experience: Preferably in the construction industry.
