About the role | Ko te mahi nei
As a Parks and Gardens Maintenance Officer you'll be delivering a wide range of maintenance, upkeep, and improvement to Christchurch City's Parks and Cemeteries.
Your duties will include,
* Mowing, hand and ride on.
* Line trimming.
* Spraying, Weeding, Pruning and Planting
* Cleaning BBQs and Water fountains.
* You'll be a committed team player who is always looking for ways to learn, grow and improve.
* You will be ensuring all aspects of our parks such as turf, gardens and all associated furnishings are maintained to the highest standard.
* You will have a full driver's license, level 4 National Certificate in Horticulture or equivalent, or extensive experience in similar role.
* A Grow Safe qualification, class two truck licence and W endorsement would be highly desirable but not essential. CCC will help you gain these qualifications if you do not have them.

Hours of work -7:30am - 3:30pm Monday - Friday. There is also a requirement to work weekend and public holidays on a rostered basis.
Position - Permanent, Full-time
Location- This position is primarily based atone of our Depot's based in Wigram or Bromley
Salary-The salary band for this position goes from$65,502 to$72,780 per annum based on a 40 hour week. Starting salaries will be based on knowledge, skills and experience the successful candidate brings to the role, and relativities both, within the immediate team and in the broader organisation for the same or similar roles.
