We are Hiring a Full-Time Café Chef
Join our team in The Boxwood Café at The Barn Garden Centre, Oundle, Northamptonshire.
We are looking for a passionate and reliable Chef to join our welcoming café team. This full-time role is perfect for someone who loves preparing fresh, seasonal food and enjoys working in hardworking, busy environment.
The Boxwood Café is part of the Barn Garden Centre in Oundle, but we pride ourselves on being more than just a Garden Centre Café We open 7 days a week with both breakfast and lunch services. Alongside our breakfast and lunch menus, we offer a daily 'Specials Board' which includes seasonal dishes and are a firm favourite with our customers.
What you will need to do:
Prepare delicious, high-quality meals to order in our busy kitchen
Work along side our Head Chef as part of the kitchen team
Help plan and deliver daily 'Specials' alongside our usual menus
Maintain our high standards of hygiene and food safety
Support the kitchen team with a smooth day-to-day service
What we offer:
Full-time position with regular hours
Sociable Hours - we open the same hours as the Garden Centre so evenings will be yours
Every other weekend off - We open 7 days a week. Over 2 weeks, you will work 10 days including every other weekend. The role includes working Bank Holidays.
Free on-site parking - we are based about 2 miles outside Oundle so your own transport is essential. We offer free on-site parking.
