An exciting opportunity has arisen at Facilities Management, Stirling Council, for a supply cleaning assistant (as and when required).
The post involves providing professional cleaning services on an as-needed basis and is paid at Stirling Council Grade 1. Shift times may vary between 3pm and 8pm, Monday to Friday, depending on the building supported. Typically, you will work across several buildings weekly; however, in cases of absence or vacancy, you may be required to stay longer in a fixed location.
Applicants should be capable of lifting heavy items, using cleaning machinery such as electric buffing machines, scrubber dryers, and vacuum cleaners. You should be able to clean surfaces up to head height and be willing to work alone. Personal protective equipment, tools, and training will be provided.
Applicants should have a basic working knowledge of IT and be willing to undertake training to utilize Stirling Council’s online training and HR IT applications.
The successful candidate must be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Children. If progressed after the interview, you will need to complete the form and have your details verified.
