We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Electrical Maintenance Shift Engineer to support installation, maintenance, and repair tasks across various sites. The role involves working independently and collaboratively to deliver planned and remedial works on time, while strictly adhering to health and safety regulations.
đź”§ Key Responsibilities
Complete electrical maintenance of Critical Assets such as Standby Generators and UPS systems
Carry out testing, fault diagnosis, repairs, and updates to maintenance work orders
Use appropriate test equipment and tools, understanding their limitations
Follow lockout/tagout procedures—no live working permitted
Perform AP duties
Maintain high standards of housekeeping and attend toolbox talks
Requirements
Qualified to BS (18th Edition) in Electrical Installations
NVQ level 3 electrical - candidates must hold an AM2
Strong understanding of electrical systems, plant, and controls
Ability to read and follow technical drawings and procedures
Self-motivated, well-organised, and eager to learn
Respectful, professional, and confident in raising safety concerns
