Contract Opportunity: Mobile App Technical Lead (SFIA 6)
Location: Remote (with ad-hoc travel to Telford)
Contract Length: 3-6 months (Statement of Work)

Clearance: BPSS (SC not required)
Day Rate: £625
Start: ASAP
Responsibilities
* Lead and mentor a cross-platform mobile development team
* Provide expert technical guidance across iOS and Android
* Oversee architecture decisions, code quality, and engineering best practice
* Ensure mobile application development aligns with organisational standards and regulatory requirements
* Collaborate closely with product, security, and wider technology teams
* Drive continuous improvement and promote modern engineering techniques
Essential Experience
* Proven experience as a Technical Lead within mobile app development
* Strong knowledge of both iOS and Android ecosystems
* Experience delivering mobile solutions within complex, multi-stakeholder environments
* Background working in high-security or highly regulated digital settings
* Demonstrable leadership skills: coaching, mentoring, performance management
* Strong communication skills and ability to influence technical direction
Additional Requirements
* BPSS clearance (or ability to obtain)
* Flexibility to travel occasionally to Telford
