Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer

About the Role:
We are currently seeking a skilled and hands-on Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer to join our Engineering Team in Bristol. This role involves both planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on a wide range of industrial machinery.
Key Responsibilities for the electrical maintenace engineer:
Perform planned and reactive maintenance on production machinery
Diagnose and repair electrical faults in a timely and safe manner
Work with control gear, PLC systems, and motor drives (AC & DC)
Carry out electrical installation and commissioning tasks
Assist with hydraulic and pneumatic systems as needed
Ensure all work is completed in line with Health & Safety regulations
Requirements for the electrical maintenance engineer:
Strong electrical background with experience in industrial maintenance
Sound knowledge of 3-phase power systems
Experience with PLCs, control panels, and motor drive systems
Electrical installation experience essential
Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatic is an advantage
Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Full UK driving licence
Ideally based in or near Bristol
