Offer description

Be the face of your patch. Support residents, shape communities, and help make every street feel like home. This is your chance to make a real impact - to be that trusted, go-to person who knows their patch inside out and plays a hands-on role in making local neighbourhoods safer, stronger and more connected. Working Style: You'll be based in the Borough for 4 days a week, playing a key role in serving the local community. Whether you're working on the frontline or behind the scenes, you'll be part of a dedicated team making a real difference to residents' lives. What you'll be doing: You'll be the first point of contact for residents in your area - someone they know they can rely on. Whether it's supporting a neighbour going through a tough time, tackling anti-social behaviour, or making sure homes and estates are well looked after, you'll be at the heart of it all. It's a varied, people-focused role where no two days are the same. One moment you might be out on an estate inspection with the caretaking team, following up on repairs or checking in on residents; the next, you could be coordinating with the police or environmental services to resolve an issue. You'll be involved in everything from managing lettings and tenancy changes to spotting signs that someone might need extra support - and making sure they get it. You'll help prevent issues before they escalate, respond quickly when they do, and keep residents informed and involved every step of the way. Whether it's cluttered homes, subletting, safeguarding concerns or domestic abuse, you'll take the right action with care, clarity and confidence - always working with others to find the best way forward. You'll also help shape the bigger picture: creating estate action plans, contributing to service improvements, and feeding resident voices into wider projects - from digital inclusion to money management. It's about building trust, solving problems, and being a champion for your community. For further details, please review the Job Description and Person Specification What you'll bring You'll have solid experience in housing management and a natural ability to build relationships - with residents and professionals alike. Whether it's working with social services, income officers or community safety teams, you'll know how to pull people together to get things done. You understand the challenges that residents can face, and you know how to listen, spot the signs and respond with compassion - but also with clear boundaries and practical follow-through. You're confident managing cases, staying on top of your patch and keeping detailed records. And you're always looking for better ways to do things. Above all, you care - about people, about places, and about doing things properly. Why join us At RBKC, we're all in - investing in our people, our communities and our future. You'll join a team that's reshaping housing management and putting residents at the centre. This role is a real chance to be part of that transformation - especially in the context of our ongoing recovery after the Grenfell tragedy. We'll support your professional development, with plenty of scope to grow your skills and shape your career. You'll get a competitive salary, the backing of a strong and supportive team, and the chance to make a visible difference every day - whether you're helping someone hold onto their tenancy or driving forward estate improvements that lift the whole community.
