Our Home
Green Farm is a 4 bed home providing medium to long-term residential care. Green Farm is a large farm house surrounded by fields and the small community of Hardwicke. We have an experienced staff team who work hard to make Green Farm a family home.
Our Young People
Our young people are between the ages of 8 and 18. They come to live with Utopia for a number of reasons and this my include neglect and trauma. They struggle with emotions and challenging behaviour - they need care, understanding, support and stability from us so they are able to confidently take their next step in life.
You and Utopia
We are seeking a Relief Residential Support worker to join our team. You must be enthusiastic about young people and providing the highest quality of care for them.
Relief staff are valued members of our teams and will be provided with all the necessary training and support required, including supervisions and invitations to the monthly Team Meetings. Whilst working, Relief staff will always be supported by a senior member of staff and the Manager of the home.
Qualifications & Skills
Some recording duties are required and candidates must therefore have basic computer literacy skills.
Whilst experience in Children's Residential Homes is appreciated, Relief staff will be focused solely on the young people, and therefore, real life and parenting experience is important.
Successful candidates must hold a valid driving licence.

This is a relief position. Hours will be offered to successful candidates who will decide which they would like to work. All shifts are overnight (not waking nights) and will include weekends and Bank Holidays.
Under the terms of the Children's Homes Regulations, due to the ages of the young people we look after, all applicants must be at least 23 years of age.
We offer a competitive hourly rate of £12.21 – £12.36. An additional £60 will be paid for any sleep-ins.
Pre-employment Checks
All employees will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check (Paid for by Utopia) and will need to provide references.
