Design Manager - Heavy Civils (Power Project)

We're looking for a highly competent and experienced Design Manager to join our team for a long-term heavy civils power project in Ipswich. If you have a strong background in major civils projects and are ready to hit the ground running, we want to hear from you.
What you'll be doing:
* You'll be responsible for overseeing and managing all design aspects of this critical power project.
* Ensuring designs are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards will be key.
* You'll be the main point of contact, liaising with clients, stakeholders, and the project team to make sure the design brief is fully met.
* Proactively identifying and mitigating design risks will be a crucial part of your role.
* We're looking for someone who can promote a strong culture of safety and quality throughout the entire design process.
What we're looking for:
* Proven experience as a Design Manager on major civils projects is a must, particularly within the power sector.
* A strong understanding of heavy civils construction methods and processes is essential.
* You'll need excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills to succeed in this role.
* The ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines is vital.
* A relevant engineering qualification will be highly regarded.
