At GXO, we’re expanding and seeking dedicated drivers to join our energetic team in Dartford, Kent, working on our exciting IKEA contract. As a Class 2 Driver, you’ll be delivering furniture alongside a Drivers Mate, ensuring a seamless experience for our customers. Customer service is at the heart of this role, helping us create a better everyday!
What You’ll Do:
In this full-time, permanent role, you will:
* Work as part of a 2-person delivery team, bringing furniture products into customers' homes and providing a first-class service experience.
* Ensure the vehicle and stock are properly secured.
* Complete tachographs in line with legislation and company policies.
* Perform vehicle checks at the beginning and end of each journey, reporting any defects.
Your Schedule:
You will be working 48 hours per week on a shift pattern of 5 days on, 3 days off over an 8-week rota, with start times between 5:00-5:30 AM.

What You Need to Succeed:
To thrive in this role, you should have:
* A physically demanding attitude, as this role involves lifting and shifting furniture.
* A full UK driving licence with category C entitlement.
* No more than 6 current penalty points.
* No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC, or TT99 endorsements within the previous 5 years.
* Previous experience driving category C vehicles is desirable.
* A DBS security check will be completed on the successful candidate.
