This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Further Education practitioner who wants to extend their impact beyond the classroom, coaching and developing colleagues while helping to shape the future of teaching and learning.Working closely with curriculum teams, Heads of Faculty and senior leaders, you will champion innovative practice, support quality improvement and help ensure that every learner benefits from an outstanding educational experience.About the Role As Quality Lead Practitioner, you will be a recognised role model for excellent teaching and learning, supporting colleagues at every stage of their professional journey.You will:Coach, mentor and develop teaching staff to improve classroom practiceSupport new colleagues through induction and probation, helping them become confident and successful educatorsLead and deliver engaging CPD programmes that inspire innovation and continuous improvementWork collaboratively with curriculum teams to improve learner outcomes and teaching standardsConduct learning walks, teaching reviews and developmental quality activitiesShare current educational research and best practice across the organisationSupport quality assurance processes, awarding body requirements and curriculum improvement planningWork alongside our ILT team to promote effective and innovative digital teaching practicesMaintain a teaching commitment of approximately 10 hours per week, modelling outstanding classroom practiceWho We're Looking For We're looking for an experienced and passionate educator who:Has a proven track record of delivering outstanding teaching and achieving excellent learner outcomesHas significant experience within Further EducationIs passionate about coaching, mentoring and developing othersCan inspire colleagues through collaboration, innovation and leadershipHas a strong understanding of quality improvement, teaching and learning strategies, and current sector developmentsEmbraces educational technology and innovative teaching approachesHas excellent communication, organisational and relationship-building skillsExperience of delivering staff development, conducting learning walks, lesson observations or mentoring colleagues would be highly advantageous.Why work for IEG?Generous Leave: 37 days of annual leave, plus Bank Holidays and Christmas close down.
