My client, a leading systematic hedge fund, is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join their New York office.
This role will involve designing and implementing a comprehensive automated testing framework to support the development of critical trading and infrastructure systems. You will work closely with software engineers, quantitative researchers, and business stakeholders to ensure the reliability, performance, and stability of key applications.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience working within financial services, with a strong background in Python development and automation testing. Expertise in server and database layer testing, and familiarity with tools such as Pytest, is highly desirable. Experience with trading systems or FIX Protocol would be considered a significant advantage.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a proactive mindset, and a proven track record of building scalable and effective test automation solutions within fast-paced environments.
