St John Henry Newman Catholic School seeks an enthusiastic, inspirational and innovative English Teacher to join a highly professional and forward‑thinking English Department. This is a temporary post to cover maternity leave.

The successful candidate will teach at GCSE and have the potential to teach A‑Level.
As a new school building, the teacher will have access to excellent resources to support career development and progression. We are interested in experienced teachers looking for a new challenge as well as early‑career teachers at the start of their career.
Safeguarding and welfare of young people is a priority. This post will require satisfactory DBS and health checks.
