Aspiring Teaching Assistant – Llanelli Area
We are currently seeking an Aspiring Teaching Assistant to work in schools across the Llanelli area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children’s learning and wellbeing, looking for a long-term, full-time role ( 5 days per week) for the right candidate.

About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting both pupils and teachers within the classroom. Day-to-day responsibilities may include:
* Supporting pupils with learning on a one-to-one or small group basis
* Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom activities
* Helping children stay focused, engaged, and motivated
* Supporting pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) where required
* Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
* ️ Helping with classroom organisation, displays, and learning resources
* Supervising pupils during break times, lunch times, and transitions
* Supporting pupils’ social, emotional, and personal development
* ️ Following safeguarding and child protection procedures at all times

Who We’re Looking For
We welcome applications from individuals with transferable skills, including experience from:
* ⚽ Coaching or sports leadership
* ❤️ Care or support work
* Childcare or childminding
* Youth work
* Personal or family experience with children
No previous school experience is required — just enthusiasm, patience, and a willingness to learn

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
