About the Role:
As an SEN Science Teacher, you will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing engaging and differentiated science lessons for students with a range of special educational needs. You will play a pivotal role in creating a positive and stimulating learning environment, adapting your teaching strategies to meet the unique requirements of each student, and celebrating their progress and achievements.
We are looking for someone who:
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in a Science-related subject.
* Has proven experience teaching Science across a range of key stages.
* Possesses a strong understanding of various special educational needs and effective strategies for supporting students with SEND.
* Is skilled in differentiating curriculum and assessment to meet individual learning styles and needs.
* Is patient, empathetic, resilient, and has a genuine desire to empower students to reach their full potential.
* Can work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team, including therapists, support staff, and parents.
* Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
