Project Overview
Join a Tier 1 Principal Contractor on a prestigious fire alarm upgrade project. This involves the strip-out of the existing fire alarm system and the installation of a brand-new system at a hospital. You will be part of a high-profile team delivering critical infrastructure improvements in a live healthcare environment.
Role Responsibilities
Install and maintain power networks for the new fire alarm system.
Provide mains supplies to fire alarm panels and associated equipment.
Ensure compliance with hospital safety standards and project specifications.
Work collaboratively with a specialist fire alarm sub-contractor responsible for system installation and commissioning.
Adhere to strict health & safety protocols in a live hospital setting.
Essential Qualifications & Requirements
DBS Check (Enhanced preferred)
Asbestos Awareness Certification
Gold CSCS/ECS Card
18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installations (e.g., 2357 / 2356 or equivalent)
Proven experience in electrical installation on large-scale projects
Strong understanding of hospital or healthcare site protocols (desirable)
