What You'll Do:
* Provide on-site and remote service for medical and automation systems.
* Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure uptime and performance.
* Train healthcare engineering staff and end-users on proper system operation and safety procedures.
* Manage car stock inventory, service documentation, and KPI compliance.
* Collaborate with clinical and technical teams to resolve escalations and maintain client satisfaction.
* Maintain full compliance with medical device and quality regulations (GMP, ISO, MDR).
What You'll Bring:
* ONC/HNC (Level 5) or higher in Electronic, Biomedical, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
* 3+ years of experience in field service within medical devices, automation, or technical support environments.
* Strong understanding of networking, Windows OS, and hardware configuration.
* Proven ability to build rapport with healthcare professionals and maintain customer trust.
* Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
* Valid EU driving license and willingness to travel across Ireland and the U.K. (overnight stays required).

This role involves providing essential on-site installation, maintenance, and repair services for sophisticated industrial equipment. You will be the face of our client to their customers, ensuring maximum uptime and satisfaction through expert technical support. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
Responsibilities:
* Install, configure, and commission new equipment at customer sites.
* Perform routine preventive maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal equipment performance.
* Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and software issues on a wide range of machinery.
* Respond to customer service requests and emergency calls promptly and efficiently.
* Provide technical training and support to customers on equipment operation and maintenance.
* Maintain accurate service records, including detailed reports on all work performed.
* Order and manage spare parts inventory for effective service delivery.
