Responsibilities
* Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
* Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations to enhance their experience.
* Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service.
* Handle cash and card transactions accurately, demonstrating basic maths skills for processing payments.
* Assist in stock management, including ordering supplies and inventory control.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operation within the restaurant environment.
* Uphold the highest standards of hospitality, ensuring every guest feels valued and welcomed.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in bartending or a similar role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
* Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
* Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous.
* Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
* A willingness to help others and work as part of a team is crucial for success in this role.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
