🎯 Key Responsibilities
* Set, operate, and maintain CNC milling machines within a dynamic and fast-paced engineering environment
* Interpret and work from complex engineering drawings and CAD data
* Monitor machining performance, tool wear, and part quality using precision measuring instruments
* Collaborate with CNC programmers and production planners to meet tight deadlines
* Maintain high standards of housekeeping and health & safety practices
🧠 Skills & Experience
* Solid experience in CNC milling operations within a precision engineering company
* Proficiency with Fanuc, Heidenhain, or Siemens controls
* Ability to set multi-axis machines (3-, 4- or 5-axis desirable)
* Strong problem-solving ability and a keen eye for detail
* Engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
