We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production Operative to join a reputable company in St Neots. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling mechanical components and sub-assemblies in a production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble mechanical parts using hand tools
Read and interpret assembly instructions
Perform quality checks to ensure all work meets company standards
Maintain a clean and organised work area
Work effectively as part of a team to meet production targets Stamping parts with use of a machine
Measuring and cutting material to tight tolerances using cutting machines
Flushing with either a lubricant or pellet
Taping finished products
Bagging finished goods
Requirements:
Previous experience in mechanical assembly or a similar role
Ability to read and understand technical drawings
Good attention to detail and manual dexterity
Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team
Basic understanding of health and safety practices
