Job Description:
Madison Berkeley is delighted to be partnered with a leading Pan-EU industrial and logistics property firm to appoint a Senior Development Analyst.
This highly respected business has a long-standing track record of delivering complex, multi-phase development projects across the UK and Europe. With an active pipeline and significant capital backing, they are continuing to scale and invest in talent to support their growth.
The Senior Development Analyst will play a key role in supporting the development team with financial analysis, forecasting, and funding reports, while also taking responsibility for managing junior analysts and coordinating with legal and finance teams across a range of live and future projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Working with the development team, preparing, updating and reviewing development appraisals including updating for new information received on potential sales, cost tender returns and banking terms received.
* Perform financial forecasting of company profits over a 5-year period, providing a reconciliation on YTD figures.
* Preparation of funding reports to equity and debt lenders as and when required.
* Assisting on liaison with lawyers to put in place property finance documents. Assist in satisfying conditions precedent required and co-ordinate with colleagues to source any relevant information required.
* Review and circulate legal documentation relating to joint venture and development management agreements with senior management and other stakeholders involved.
* Keep track of actual spend versus budgeted spend on development deals done, including those done in Joint Venture.
* Direct experience managing development analysis/projects across the UK and ideally Europe.
* Degree level or equivalent essential, and experience of working in a commercial role to a high standard.
Skillset requirements
* Intermediate skills in MS Office Applications, especially Excel and Powerpoint
* Flexible time management, responsive to tight deadlines and strong communication skills
* Exceptional attention to detail, driven and a strong work ethic
* Foster a ‘one team’ culture in day-to-day role
