Overview
Care Assistant – two positions available at Henry Cornish Care Centre, Chipping Norton, OX7 5AU.
Pay rate: £12.93 per hour (NVQ and weekend enhancements available). Contracted Hours: 21.25 per week. Shift pattern: 7am - 2pm; 2pm - 7.30pm; 7am - 7.30pm, including alternate weekends.
Henry Cornish Care Centre offers compassionate, individualised residential, early-stage dementia, intermediate and respite care for up to 50 residents in a relaxing and comfortable environment.
Responsibilities
We are looking for you to work as a care assistant making a real difference to our residents’ lives every day. You will:
* Support daily routines and personal care (washing, bathing, supporting toilet use).
* Provide genuine care to residents and help create a happy, fulfilling life for them.
Some days may be challenging but you will laugh, have fun and make lasting memories. You’ll become part of our extended family too, bringing kindness, exceptional care and dignity to our care homes.
Qualifications and qualities
* Experience as a carer preferred, but we welcome those new to care.
* Great communication skills and ability to build relationships and maintain positive working and living environments.
* Induction training and ongoing development opportunities provided.
