About The Role
We are looking for a Buyer, based at our Head Office in Barton-Upon-Humber. The position is full-time, working 5 days a week from Monday to Friday, 07:00-15:30. Main responsibilities:
1. Raise and process purchase orders, ensuring data accuracy
2. Maintain accurate pricing, product and supplier information in internal systems
3. Update forecasting tools and align usage data with suppliers
4. Assist with supplier negotiations under the guidance of Manager
5. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholder to identify trends and alternative supply options
6. Assist with departmental reporting, KPI tracking and collaborate with internal teams (e.g. Customer Service, Technical, Marketing) on supplier-related or product-related projects
About You
Skills & Knowledge:
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
8. Strong analytical skills and commercial awareness
9. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
10. High attention to detail and organisational skills
11. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
12. Experience in a commercial, supply chain or admin support role preferred but not essential
