We are seeking a passionate and experienced National Wellbeing Manager to lead the development and delivery of our Wellbeing, Emergency Response and third-party Care services across our Retirement Villages.
This is a high-impact national role responsible for ensuring our services are effective, safe, compliant and commercially viable, delivering on our promise to support residents to live well for longer. You will shape strategy, drive operational excellence and act as a trusted expert to village leadership teams across the portfolio.
This is a hybrid position with one day per week in our London Victoria office, regular travel to villages (1–2 days per week) and flexibility to work from home.
What You'll Be Responsible For
Shaping Strategy & Service Excellence
* Lead the development and implementation of our Care and Wellbeing strategies.
* Oversee engagement, monitoring and quality assurance of third-party regulated care providers, ensuring regulatory compliance and accountability.
* Define and continuously improve our Emergency Response services, ensuring appropriate skills, qualifications and safe delivery.
* Drive innovation in technology and service solutions to enhance resident wellbeing and care outcomes.
* Build strong partnerships with local Integrated Care Networks and key external stakeholders.
Driving Operational Excellence
* Establish and embed standardised processes, systems and quality monitoring frameworks.
* Support General Managers and village teams to deliver exceptional wellbeing and emergency response services.
* Act as the escalation point for complex issues relating to care, safeguarding and wellbeing.
* Work closely with Sales teams to ensure deep understanding of our wellbeing and care proposition to support village growth.
* Quantify business benefits of new initiatives and align manpower planning to service needs.
Leading & Developing People
* Ensure regulatory and safeguarding compliance across Wellbeing and Emergency Response services.
* Coach, train and upskill village teams to build capability and confidence.
* Support General Managers to assess team capability and maintain professional standards.
* Lead performance oversight aligned to overall wellbeing and business goals.
* Champion a safety-first, resident-focused culture where everyone lives our values.
What We're Looking For
* Degree educated (or vocational equivalent).
* 6–10 years' relevant experience, including 3 - 6 years managing teams and resources to deliver business objectives.
* Strong understanding of regulated care environments, safeguarding and compliance frameworks.
* Experience managing third-party providers and holding partners to account.
* Ability to assess complex situations and implement cost-effective, scalable solutions.
* Skilled communicator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
* Commercial awareness combined with a passion for resident experience and wellbeing.
