Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Restraint Reduction Lead to join Achieve together. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the organisation's core operations and ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of services.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver CPI Safety Interventions training and ensure that all staff undertake relevant initial and refresher courses, ensuring homes are compliant with the Restraint Reduction Network Standards.
* Assist in making a safe environment for the people we support and staff within the homes.
* Enable staff to develop knowledge and skills in the prevention and management of challenging behaviour that may arise.
Requirements
* Holds a Level 2 Diploma or above in Health and Social Care.
* Experience working with autistic spectrum disorders and/or challenging behaviour.
* Full driving licence and access to a car.
* Substantial experience in a health and social care setting.
* Willingness to work towards a CPI Instructor course and any other qualifications as required.
* Understanding of the rights of people with a learning disability.
