Join Our Team as a Family Support Worker Welland Park Academy are seeking a compassionate and proactive Family Support Worker to help youngsters and families thrive. In this vital role, you'll provide targeted support to ensure students are provided with a safe and secure environment, working closely with parents, school staff, and external agencies to foster a positive and inclusive school. The purpose of the job is to work directly with a designated caseload of students and their families to identify and remove barriers to attendance, engagement, and wellbeing. The Family Support Worker will deliver early help, sustained intervention, and targeted support to vulnerable students, particularly those experiencing declining attendance, welfare concerns, family instability, or complex personal circumstances. The role aims to strengthen home–school relationships, support families in times of need or crisis, and promote improved attendance and engagement through practical support, advocacy, and effective multi agency collaboration.
