We are looking for a self-motivated, client-focused team player for a multinational construction business operating across various industries.
The ideal candidate is someone with experience in a bigger, complex company, aggressive growth mindset, a true ‘hunter mentality’, and able to grow and expand current major accounts. Candidates from smaller, agile company backgrounds could also be relevant, but you must be able to display strong matrix stakeholder management.
Looking for someone who can get up to speed quickly, take initiative, and contribute from day one.
This role is open to location in the UK, but you MUST be happy and able to travel to customers across the country.
Responsibilities
* Drive strategic account growth and achieve sales targets by identifying growth opportunities within key national accounts and leading targeted campaigns in collaboration with commercial and marketing teams.
* Build relationships & develop talent while supporting and coaching junior team members to enhance overall team capability and performance.
* Use sales and market data to inform strategy, coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues, and maintain high standards of service, safety and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
* Proven key account experience and the ability to demonstrate success in managing key accounts with a proactive, results-driven approach in fast-paced environments.
* Strong communication & relationship skills, including excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
* Operational readiness & flexibility, proficiency in Microsoft Office, ability to prioritise and multitask effectively, with willingness to travel nationally and a full UK driving licence.
Compensation
Up to £60,000 p/a compensation package.
