Pay: Up to £34,779 (depending on experience and qualifications)

What You’ll Do
* Support young people with daily routines: getting ready for school, prepping meals and planning activities.
* Create a warm, homely environment by helping with light housekeeping.
* Lead shifts and deputise for the home manager.
* Build strong, meaningful relationships and provide emotional support.
* Plan and join activities like trips to the park, movie nights and creative projects.
* Keep essential records to ensure the best possible care.
Where You’ll Do It
We are a 3-bed Children’s home in Birmingham. A warm, welcoming, and inviting home in a detached property in a cul-de-sac in South Birmingham, with nearby amenities. We support children and young people of all ages with all different needs, focusing on those with some emotional and behavioural difficulties, many with trauma or adverse childhood experiences.
Who You Are
* Warm, patient, a great listener and encourager – focused on achieving outcomes for others.
* Driver with full UK driving licence.
* Hold a minimum of NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare and two years’ experience in a residential setting.
