A leading manufacturer in Thame, Oxfordshire, is looking for experienced Electrical Assembly Production Operatives with skills in electrical wiring, wire routing, and component assembly to join their growing team on a permanent basis.
The available shifts are:
* DAYS: 6am - 2.30pm, Monday to Thursday, and 5 hours on Friday (6am - 11am) - £24,743
* LATES: 2.30pm - 11pm, Monday to Thursday, and 5 hours on Friday (11am - 4pm) - £28,083
Further training will be provided.
Responsibilities include:
* Working in various areas such as component manufacturing, product assembly, wiring, and testing to meet delivery requirements.
* Carrying out component manufacturing and product assembly according to build instructions, drawings, BOMs, or related documents.
* Ensuring all activities meet quality and applicable standards.
* Setting up manufacturing equipment and production areas for efficiency.
* Maintaining a safe, clean, and orderly work environment.
* Properly storing and identifying components and products.
* Maintaining accurate production and product records.
* Liaising with Team Leaders to keep stock levels updated.
* Ensuring equipment runs efficiently and effectively, maximizing resource use.
* Maintaining machinery as per TPM programs.
* Reporting maintenance issues to management.
* Participating in team activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Suggesting improvements for safety and efficiency.
* Identifying and solving manufacturing problems collaboratively.
Previous experience in electrical product assembly, wiring, and component assembly is essential, along with a strong work history. Candidates should be able to multitask, interpret drawings, problem-solve, and identify root causes with solutions.
