Kings Hill Parish Council has a small team of friendly staff and are responsible for running the Kings Hill Community Centre and supporting our Parish Council and local community.
About the Role:
We are looking for a Part-Time Cleaner to join our team located in the Kings Hill Community Centre. The ideal candidate would be a friendly, positive team player who can maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the building. We are looking for someone who is reliable and takes pride in their work.
Key Duties:
· Perform cleaning tasks in designated areas, including suites, restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces.
· Dust, mop, vacuum, and sanitise surfaces, furniture, ledges, windowsills to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
* Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure all cleaning needs are met.
* Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
* Adhere to health and safety regulations while using cleaning products and equipment.
* Manage time efficiently to complete tasks within designated timeframes.
· Replenishing consumable items (soap, toilet rolls).
· Provide cover for the other part-time cleaner during periods of absence or annual leave.
Key requirements:
· At least 1 years' experience in a similar role.
· Able to work on own initiative.
· Take pride in their work.
· Have a positive attitude and able to work flexibly.
· Be able to prioritise and possess excellent attention to detail.
· Available to cover other staff when on holiday/sick leave
· Driving Licence
