Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pet Sitter to provide exceptional care for pets in their own homes. The ideal candidate will possess a genuine love for animals and the ability to ensure their involves a variety of tasks that require attention to detail, strong customer service skills, and the ability to handle heavy lifting when necessary.
Responsibilities
* Provide daily care for pets, including feeding, walking, and administering medication as needed.
* Ensure the safety and comfort of pets while maintaining a clean environment.
* Engage in playtime and exercise to promote physical and mental well-being.
* Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' needs and any concerns that may arise.
* Maintain accurate records of pet care activities and any special instructions from pet owners.
* Handle heavy lifting when required, such as moving pet supplies or assisting larger animals.
Requirements
* Previous veterinary experience is highly desirable but not essential.
* Strong background in animal care, demonstrating knowledge of various pet needs and behaviours.
* Excellent customer service skills to foster positive relationships with pet owners.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed for the role.
