Administrative Assistant Circle Decontamination - Aylesford 37.5 Hours & Permanent Salary: Up to £24.993.00 per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification) Circle Health Group Decontamination is responsible for the provision of sterile equipment and instrumentation for use in surgical and interventional procedures in hospitals across the Southeast of England. We have an opportunity for an Administrative Assistant to join their team of staff in the Decontamination department. This is a full-time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a shift pattern of 8am - 4pm Monday to Friday. Duties of this role include: You support the unit in ensuring all administrative duties are completed in a professional manner, reporting to the Unit’s Administrator and providing administrative support to the production and managerial team. You will support all aspects of the decontamination process pertaining to both instrumentation and endoscopy You assist in the answering of calls from customers. Y o u utilise the booking system for the loaning of flexible endoscopes between different hospitals and endoscopy suites and co-ordinate the delivery of flexible endoscopes to all sites. You co-ordinate repairs and service contracts under direction as. You order and co-ordinate the storage of supplies ensuring adequate stocks are maintained at all times. You produce weekly reports as directed by the Decontamination Manager and maintain timesheet records. You comply with all relevant mandatory training. Applicants should meet the following criteria: Good interpersonal and communication skills. The ability to work as a team member. The ability to work on own initiative. The ability to work under pressure, to prioritise work and meet deadlines. The a bility to work accurately and to precise detail, with good organisational and follow-up skills. GCSEs (or equivalent) English and Maths (Grades 4/C or above).
