This is a new an exciting role supporting a prestigious school. We are seeking a candidate with excellent organisational and data management skills, an eye for detail and excellent communication skills. You will also need to have the ability to liaise sensitively and professionally with staff, pupils and parents. Hours are Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 16:30 35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. Successful candidates will undergo an enhanced Disclosure and Barring List Check. This role offers immense variety and combines technical responsibilities along with people focused tasks. This role would suit a candidate who enjoys a fast-paced working environment. You will also support governor/committee meetings and be responsible for minute taking. Your role: Maintain the Admissions Register in accordance with statutory regulations Produce and submit monthly pupil roll returns to the Local Authority Liaise with the Head of Admissions to ensure an accurate handover of pupil records and information post-enrolment Collaborate closely with the school timetable to input, update, and maintain the whole-school academic timetable in iSAMS Manage subject sets and class groupings, ensuring pupils are allocated correctly and changes are recorded accurately Provide first-line timetable support to pupils and staff, resolving queries and communicating changes as needed Oversee the SchoolCloud platform for parents' evenings, including event setup, bookings, and communication with staff and families Act as a first point of contact for pupils and families after the admissions process, especially during initial transition and integration Provide support to parents regarding timetable queries, platform access, school routines, and early-stage concerns Manage communications and logistical arrangements for information evenings and parent-facing events Provide reliable, accurate administrative support to the Performing Arts, Sports, and SEND departments Undertake appropriate training in SEND administration to ensure compliant support of the SENCO and SEND provision Attend safeguarding meetings as required and take accurate, confidential minutes in collaboration with the DSL Support the tracking and analysis of pupil performance data and engagement, including reports for internal use and external submission (e.g., DfE) Provide reception cover as needed, welcoming visitors and assisting with general school administration Person Specification Essential Previous experience working in a school or similar administrative environment. Excellent organisational and data management skills with close attention to detail Confident communicator with the ability to liaise sensitively and professionally with staff, pupils, and families Ability to maintain the confidentiality, professionalism, and sensitivity required for safeguarding and governance processes Proficiency in school systems (ideally iSAMS, SchoolCloud, Evolve, and/or UpLearn) and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace Understanding of data protection and safeguarding confidentiality.
