An international law firm is looking for a Conflicts Analyst to join their Risk & Compliance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with conflicts experience, ideally from a law firm, looking for a flexible, London-based or fully remote role within a highly regarded global organisation.
The Role
The Conflicts Analyst is responsible for reviewing and clearing medium-complexity conflict checks, assessing potential legal and commercial conflicts, and ensuring the firm’s global conflict policies are followed.
Key Responsibilities for the Conflicts Analyst:
* Manage the conflict checking process from initial review through to matter creation.
* Review and clear conflict checks, analysing legal, commercial, and confidentiality risks.
* Provide clear, well-reasoned conflict escalations to Team Leaders and the Senior Conflicts Manager.
* Identify sanctions-related concerns and escalate appropriately to the Financial Crime Team.
* Liaise directly with partners and lawyers on conflict queries, including complex multi-jurisdictional matters.
* Support daily workflow management, ensuring SLA standards are met.
* Maintain internal conflict flags and ensure accurate data on the conflicts system.

* Assist with lower-complexity, higher-volume checks as required.
* Provide support to Team Leaders, Managers and Global Heads as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Degree educated (law preferred) or equivalent relevant experience.
* Previous conflicts experience within an international law firm.
* Strong working knowledge of conflict rules and professional conduct regulations (SRA, Law Society of Scotland, Law Society of Ireland, DIFC, ABA desirable).
* Experience using conflict management or matter-opening systems (Intapp Open, Elite/3E, or similar).
