We are currently recruiting for a Sous Chef to join our main kitchen brigade at The Londoner, our 5 Star Luxury super-boutique Hotel.
Overview:
* An Amazing opportunity to join the main kitchen team at The Londoner asSous Chef. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the banqueting and In Room Dining food operation alongside the Head Chef.
* Direct the brigade to ensure a high level of food is executed across for the banqueting and In room dining operation.
* Support the Executive Head Chef and Executive Senior Sous Chef on a daily basis.
* Coach develop and mentor the junior chefs in the brigade ensuring they reach their potential.
* Ensure guest expectations are exceeded and seeks opportunities to improve the guest experience by seeking feedback and evaluating service levels.
* Implementing and developing food strategies to improve where necessary.
About you:
* CurrentSous Chef experience within a large banqueting hotel operation of 4- or 5-star standards.
* Capable of demonstrating outstanding leadership, coaching and change management with a strategic approach.
* Ability to manage and achieve budgetary goals by analysing historical data, forecasts, and revenues.
* Has the ability to demonstrate personal ownership of tasks and will ensure completion to achieve the required results.
* Proven track record of achieving outstanding levels of personal and departmental targets in order to meet and exceed expectations whilst delivering outstanding attention to detail and precision.
