Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Salary: £55,000 to £65,000 DOE
Onsite, Full-Time, Mon-Fri
We are partnered with a critical components manufacturer in Worcestershire that has recently moved into new ownership and leadership. The business is undergoing a wider transformation and preparing for a period of strong growth with a healthy international order book across several OEMs.
This role will suit a Senior Manufacturing Engineer with deep experience in hot metal environments including castings or forgings. You will play a leading part in shaping and improving core manufacturing processes, supporting operational stability, and driving capability improvements across a varied and technically demanding product portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the development, optimisation and standardisation of processes for hot metal product manufacturing
• Drive CI activity with clear operational outcomes in safety, quality, cost and delivery
• Act as a technical authority for complex manufacturing issues and support production teams
• Support NPI and ensure robust manufacturing readiness for new and revised product introductions
• Partner closely with engineering, quality and operations to raise technical capability
• Contribute to wider transformation projects as systems and processes are modernised
• Mentor and support junior engineers and share best practice across the team
What You Will Bring
• Strong experience in hot metal manufacturing, specifically castings or forgings
• Proven process engineering background in regulated and heavy manufacturing
• Ability to lead CI initiatives and deliver measurable improvements
• Strong diagnostic and problem solving capability for complex technical issues
• Experience working across varied product ranges and adapting to changing priorities
• Confident communication skills with the ability to influence across functions
• Interest in contributing to a business in transformation with significant long term growth ahead
