Overview
Indirect Procurement Manager Europe role at Church & Dwight Co., Inc. based in Folkestone, Kent. Lead strategic sourcing initiatives and drive value across the European supply chain.
As the Indirect Procurement Manager Europe, you will manage indirect procurement activities across UK and EU sites, support the Associate Director of Procurement by driving indirect procurement savings, and lead cost-saving strategies across the EU supply chain.
Responsibilities
* Lead procurement-led savings initiatives across indirect procurement areas.
* Proactively manage the procurement and sourcing process, including marketplace competitions for best value and innovation.
* Negotiate with suppliers and present contracting solutions that meet strategic objectives and gain senior stakeholder approval.
* Oversee a five-year strategic outlook to ensure continuous service and value optimization through supplier and stakeholder relationships.
* Monitor marketplace trends and advocate for procurement models that drive efficiency and advancement.
* Formulate and execute a comprehensive 5-year cost-reduction plan aligned with company objectives and report progress.
* Conduct supplier performance reviews to ensure adherence to contract SLAs and foster continuous improvement.
* Collaborate with the US Director of Global Indirect Procurement to ensure alignment across shared regions.
Requirements
* Fluency in English; strong communication skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Preferably CIPS qualified or equivalent professional qualification.
* Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role, with broad indirect procurement categories (e.g., Marketing, MRO, IT/Telecom, HR, Professional Services, Logistics) and collaboration with commercial teams and plant managers.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated contract negotiation skills, a track record of securing favorable terms and achieving cost savings and service improvements, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders within multi-functional teams.
This role works 37 hours per week, Monday–Friday, permanent, and eligible for hybrid working.
