* Work as part of a team to maintain cleanliness and laundry standards in the home, following standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry.
* Carry out cleaning duties and understand cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings to keep areas well presented and in good condition.
* Ensure residents are treated with dignity and respect, and that their personal space and belongings are respected.

About the role
Your focus as a Housekeeping Assistant is to work as part of a team, ensuring that all standards of cleanliness and laundry are maintained in the home. You will operate according to our SOPs for housekeeping and laundry, ensuring that hotel service standards are maintained. Other responsibilities will include carrying out cleaning duties and understanding the materials, surfaces and cleaning requirements involved.

* Knowledge of Health and Safety, particularly Moving and Handling techniques, Fire Safety and COSHH assessments.
* Experience of cleaning laundry in a public setting.

* Ability to be adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
Requirements
* DBS Disclosure check (cost met by Avery Healthcare).
* Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
