CIS Security Ltd are looking for an experienced and highly skilled CCTV Operator who is entrusted with ensuring a safe, secure, and responsive environment. Operating from the site Security Control Room, the Controller is tasked with maintaining the safety and security of the premises through continuous CCTV monitoring, timely and effective incident and alarm response, and clear coordination with the wider security team and emergency services. The role is critical to the smooth running of all security operations, ensuring full compliance with site specific protocols and industry standards. The CCTV Controller supports the Duty Security Supervisor & Duty Security Manager in managing shift operations, ensuring that all contractual and customer expectations are consistently met. The role contributes directly to delivering a high standard of security, safety, and customer service across this unique commercial skyscraper located in the financial district of the City of London; the 38-storey building is 687,000 sq. ft of high-quality office accommodation. Information: Position: CCTV Controller Location: City of London (EC3M) Pay Rate: £15.14 per hour Hours: Average 56 hours per week Shifts: Days & Nights - 7 on 3 off 7 on 4 off Job Requirements: SIA CCTV Licence & SIA Licence (DS or SG) required. Corporate CCTV controller/operator security experience required. Excellent PC skills and Microsoft knowledge required. Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills Experience of working in a demanding, high-pressure environment Excellent understanding of access control & CCTV systems Customer focused, with a strong knowledge of customer service skills. To have a smart professional appearance and conduct befitting the company. Demonstrate a strong aptitude for multi-tasking, self-motivated and able to work on own initiative. Ability to think and act quickly in emergency incidents or under pressure, displaying sound judgement and composure under pressure. Be confident you can undertake 100% of all specific duties Be able to provide all the documentation and vetting information requested Job Responsibilities: Maintain a high level of vigilance through CCTV monitoring, ensuring all security protocols are upheld. Respond to incidents swiftly and in accordance with the assignment instructions, maintaining discretion and professionalism. Monitor CCTV systems to identify and respond to security issues in real time Co-ordinate with on-site personnel, emergency services, and stakeholders to ensure a cohesive security response. Maintain detailed and accurate logs, reports, and documentation to support operational effectiveness Arrange for the collation and viewing of CCTV images in response to incident management, in line with the CCTV code of practice To be conversant with all life safety systems and assist in responding to all emergencies promptly as illustrated in the Assignment Instructions Support the team by maintaining the control room's order, cleanliness, and operational readiness ensuring it is ready for operational use. Uphold the integrity and confidentiality of all security systems, access controls, and data handling. Ensure compliance with site-specific security procedures Safeguard the confidentiality and integrity of security systems and access controls Producing site access control passes Maintain accurate daily electronic occurrence log records Report any issues or incidents to the Duty Security Supervisor & Duty Security Manager To cover for the Duty Security Supervisor in any instance of absence Carry out any reasonable requests made by CIS management.
