We have an exciting role on offer within our Neighbourhoods team as a Resource Worker.
You will be joining the team at MyPlace, an activity centre dedicated to improving the lives of young people.
To be successful in this role you need a NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration or equivalent.
You will have a responsibility for supporting the MyPlace Manager with the day-to-day operations of the centre.
We are looking for someone with excellent communication and customer care skills, as you will be working on the reception, greeting visitors and supporting tenants who provide services, schooling, activities and support for young people.
We are looking for someone who is organised, with admin experience, and has used business or financial systems, as you will be responsible for invoicing, placing orders and managing room bookings.
You will need to enjoy working with young people and be prepared to work one evening per week until 9pm and occasionally outside of normal working hours to support activities at the weekly evening youth club for mixed abilities.
As a team member, you will also ensure the building is clean, safe and welcoming, following and undertaking all health and safety protocols.
You may be asked to work in any of the Community Hubs in Middlesbrough to provide cover if needed.
Please note this post is 29.5 hours per week.
If this is you, this may be the opportunity you are looking for!
If you would like to talk through this opportunity further, please contact Tracey Smith, MyPlace Locality Manager at or call 01642 728015.
