The role
As a Project Support Operations Manager, you will join an 850-strong team of well-trained, experienced, and passionate staff who strive to uphold company values and deliver exceptional services. Follow HSQE and rail-critical safety practices using the training provided.
* Rostering and staff allocation: Manage staff performance using company policies and procedures. Produce monthly/yearly programs in line with contract requirements. Ensure staffing levels align with work requirements.
* Manage Isolation and Possession: Produce task safety briefs in line with booked and upcoming possessions and isolations.
* Timegate system: Use the system to ensure staff receive hours worked.
* Training: Ensure all staff have the relevant training as per their role. Induct new starters and complete mandatory training within set timeframes.
* Recruitment: Visit stations pre-work to ascertain tasks; visit stations post-work to ensure standards have been met. Allocate client requests based on geographical location of the network.
* Maintenance of fleet and equipment; attraction and bidding of new works; pricing and delivery of works to an agreed profitable level.
The ideal candidate
* FM experience
* Ability to work and lead a team
* Proactive and efficient in approach
* Full UK Driving License
* Ability to solve problems and handle ad hoc challenges
Nice to have
* PTS (Personal Track Safety)
* IPAF (International Powered Access Federation)
* PASMA (Prefabricated Access Suppliers and Manufacturers Association)
Shift and travel
Varied shifts ranging from 8 to 12 working hours, including days, nights, weekends. 40 hours – Monday to Sunday; flexibility and national travel may be required.
Successful candidates will be required to provide original documentation for detailed screening and vetting processes (e.g., passport, driving licence, utility bill dated within last 3 months, HMRC letter, original bank statement, original payslip, birth certificate, valid share code).
