We are seeking an experienced and commercially focused Hotel Operations Manager to take full responsibility for a busy hospitality operation in Somerset.
This is a senior, hands-on role overseeing accommodation and food & beverage operations, with accountability for performance, standards and guest experience. The role would suit candidates from a branded or limited-service hotel background, or those with experience in the holiday park sector.
The Role
Lead the day-to-day operation, ensuring smooth, safe and efficient delivery
Maintain high standards across accommodation, public areas and F&B
Act as a visible leader, handling guest feedback and resolving issues
Drive occupancy, revenue and overall commercial performance
Manage OTAs and third-party booking channels
Control budgets, payroll and operational costs
Recruit, lead and develop the team
Ensure full compliance with all relevant legislation
Support Duty Management and ongoing operational improvements
The Candidate
Proven experience in hotel or senior hospitality operations
Strong commercial and financial awareness
Experience with OTAs and revenue performance
Confident team leader with a hands-on approach
Strong guest focus and problem-solving ability
Good understanding of hospitality compliance
Full UK driving licence
