We are looking for a highly experienced and dynamic Chilled Senior Production Manager to join our team and lead our chilled production operations to new heights.
As the Chilled Senior Production Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing production activities, driving strategic initiatives, and fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. You will manage a large, skilled team and ensure that all production processes comply with the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the entire chilled production department, ensuring alignment with company goals and production targets.
* Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize production efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality standards.
* Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations within the production environment.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analysing production data and identifying opportunities for process enhancements.
* Mentor and develop production management teams, fostering leadership skills and team cohesion.
* Collaborate with cross-functional departments including Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to ensure seamless operations.
* Manage budgets and resource allocation effectively to support operational efficiency and business objectives.
Requirements
* Extensive experience in production management within the food manufacturing sector, ideally in chilled product environments.
* Proven leadership capabilities managing large teams and complex operations.
* Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, quality standards, and health and safety legislation.
* Exceptional strategic planning, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
