Centristic Ltd is seeking a dedicated Quality Control Technician to join our fabrication workshop team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in steelwork and fabrication who takes pride in precision, detail, and ensuring the highest quality standards.,
Responsibilities
* Perform regular quality assessments on incoming materials and outgoing products.
* Reject products and materials that do not meet company standards.
* Inspect steel fabrication work on the shop floor, ensuring compliance with weld specifications, orientation, quality, and dimensions.
* Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
* Measure product dimensions, check functionality, and verify against requirements.
* Liaise with the Production Manager and workshop staff to ensure timely completion of tasks.
* Recommend process improvements to maintain and enhance quality.
* Document inspection outcomes with detailed reports and performance records.
* Record goods in and goods out accurately.
* Collate completed engineering drawings for database entry.
* Resolve quality-related issues efficiently.
Qualifications
* Strong knowledge of steelwork and fabrication (essential).
* Competent in MS Office applications.
* Strong mathematical and technical skills.
* Excellent communication, organisation, and reporting abilities.
* High attention to detail.
